Teen Art Class: The Painter’s Palette

When: Saturday, September 28 From 1:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Where: The Bass Museum, 2100 Collins Ave

About: Ages 13-18. Develop a personal palette inspired by your aesthetic and learn about color harmony, intensity, hue, space, temperature and how to apply it to your paintings. Studio art intensive workshops for building a strong portfolio of work. Each week is devoted to a particular medium, providing students the ability to select and explore material. Professional art teachers will advise and guide students to develop their skillset, hone their studio art practice, and experiment with a multitude of materials. Students will learn how to articulate their vision and speak about artwork through one-on-one and group critique, a necessary tool for artist development. Students are encouraged to attend all sessions.
