This class will cover the fundamentals of painting with acrylic or oil paints. Students will explore a variety of techniques and applications focusing on the versatility of both mediums. This class is ideal for beginner to intermediate students and artists who seek to improve their painting skills.

The instructor will focus on teaching the following fundamentals: color combination, form, texture, composition, and use of brushes and other painting tools.

By the end of the course, each student will have completed 4 to 5 paintings.

This course is taught in English and Spanish.

About Pablo Contrisciani:

Pablo earned his Masters in Fine Arts, Painting at Facultad de Bellas Artes, National University of La Plata, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He has been participated in several solo and group exhibitions locally, nationally and internationally. His work forms part of public and corporate collections from USA, Latin America and Europe. Pablo is an ArtCenter alumnus (1998-2006 and 2010-2015) and works as a painting instructor since 1998.
