About: The Sphinx Virtuosi is a chamber orchestra dedicated to diversity in music, performing well-known repertoire together with works by African-American and Latinx composers. Experience this year’s annual performance at the New World Center!
Justice and peace find their way into music without regard to time and place. This program reflects on the impact of unspeakable violence and segregation, the power of protest, the pursuit of harmony and the hope for tomorrow. As listeners, we must decide the role both artists and citizens can play in propelling peace and positivity.
