Celebrate the poetry of Walt Whitman with a one-of-a-kind choral concert. Selections will include a
composition by Vaughn-Williams on the 200th anniversary of the poet’s birth! Also, enjoy the premiere of a
new work by Dr. David Pagel, commissioned for Collegium, and a setting by award-winning composer Robert
S. Cohen of a poem by Hyam Plutzik, father of The Betsy’s owner, Jonathan Plutzik – and whose poetry is The
Betsy’s tagline – “Expect no more. This is Happiness.”
