About: Sponsored by the Liechtenstein Global Trust, the LGT Young Soloists is an award-winning string ensemble made up of highly gifted young soloists aged 14 to 24 and brings together musicians from more than 15 countries. These high-class young instrumentalists are presented on the world’s leading stages as soloists, chamber, and orchestral musicians.

Just this concert season, the ensemble performed in venues like the Vienna Musikverein, Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Berlin Philharmonie, and Singapore Victoria Hall. So far, they have released 4 recordings and were the first youth ensemble to record for Sony RCA Red Seal. They have just recorded their fifth CD on the Naxos label, featuring works by Beethoven, which will be released later this year.

This concert at the New World Center in Miami marks the end of their USA debut tour which will include the North American premiere of the Kreutzer violin sonata arranged for violin and strings. The program will also include Beethoven’s A Major cello sonata arranged for cello and strings, the captivating Le Grand Tango by Astor Piazzolla and many more breathtaking works! This is a program not to be missed!
